CCT Project Description

My proposed study reports on the efforts of Focus on the Family’s new president, Jim Daley, to move away from the rhetorical style, corporate narrative, and conceptualization of civility institutionalized by the founder, James Dobson.  Incorporating grounded theory, a thematic analysis will be conducted of interviews with Daley and long-time employees of Focus on the Family to observe themes that emerge from Daley’s rhetorical attempt to establish intellectual virtues within a new corporate narrative.
