Jason Runyan (Ph.D., Oxford University) is currently Assistant Professor of Neuropsychology at Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU). He received his Ph.D from Oxford University where his work focused on bringing an analytic method—within a Wittgensteinian tradition—to a philosophical examination of neuroscientific work on freewill. Since completing his doctoral work, Dr. Runyan has been pursuing interests concerning the relationship between subpersonal, neurophysiological activities and what we generally think is going on at the personal level; that is, what we think we do and experience.
CCT research project addresses the question “What philosophical theories of soul best accommodate the deliverances of recent neuroscience?”
