Emily Esch (Ph.D., Cornell University) is currently an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Dr. Esch recently edited two chapters, one on consciousness and one on the self, that are forthcoming in Philosophy: Traditional and Experimental Readings. She won a National Endowment of the Humanities Enduring Questions grant last year to develop an undergraduate course titled Human Nature and Our Place in the Universe.

Emily’s CCT research project is entitled “Souls, Selves, and Persons: An Empirical Investigation.”
