James Wilhoit

James Wilhoit (Ph.D., Northwestern University; M.Div., Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is Scripture Press Chair of Christian Formation and Ministry at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. His current research is focused on teaching the Bible, community-based Christian formation, and examining the biblical and early church teachings on mindfulness. He is the author of numerous articles, as well as the book Spiritual Formation as if the Church Mattered: Growing in Christ through Community (Baker Academic, 2008). He has a wife who is a physician for a large health plan and two wonderful daughters.
