Gerald Sittser (PhD University of Chicago) is a historian and Professor of Theology at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA. He is author of A Grace Disguised: How the Soul Grows Through Loss. He specializes in Christian history, history of Christian spirituality, history of catchesis, and religion in American public life. He visited CCT in February 2014 to lead a seminar on The Psychology of the Desert Fathers, focusing on the work of John Cassian.
