Alan Tjeltveit

Professor of Psychology, Muhlenberg College


Alan Tjeltveit earned a BA degree from St. Olaf College and a MA and PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is currently Professor of Psychology at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. Dr. Tjelveit’s research interests include psychotherapy, professional ethics, and theoretical and philosophical psychology. Before taking his current position at Muhlenberg College, Dr. Tjelveit worked as a clinical psychologist for a private practice. He is married to Maria, and they have one son and one daughter.
