Pastor in Residence (Fall 2012)

Rev. Kirk Winslow (M.Div., Fuller Theological Seminary) is Pastor for Adult Discipleship at Irvine Presbyterian Church (Irvine, CA) and is currently serving as the 2012 moderator of the Presbytery of Los Ranchos. He is also leading a new church plant that will launch in early 2013. Kirk did his undergraduate study (aerospace engineering) at the University of Southern California and his M.Div. at Fuller Theological Seminary, where he now teaches as a member of the adjunct faculty. Additionally, Kirk speaks and consults in the field of business ethics and hosts a regular podcast on theology, history and the spiritual life (Jesusat2AM.com). He is married to Emily, a marriage and family therapist in private practice.

Kirk’s CCT sermon series will be exploring human identity: What makes humans human? What obligations stem from our sharing in the divine life? And what hope flows forth from our awareness that our life is more than our biology?
